I did a small amount of fashion modeling for clothing catalogs when I was in my early twenties. I didn’t have the right look to be a fashion model and I didn’t see it becoming my career. I also did a small amount of glam modeling just to see what it was like. It was fun but the novelty wore off pretty quickly. Hair, clothing, makeup, setting, pose...it was all determined by the photographer and it wasn't any kind of representation of me.

A few years ago I went on a four-month, around-the-world photo shoot. The story of this trip you can see in the "around the world" page and many pictures from it are on some of the other pages too.

So that I wouldn't jeopardize my career, I created an alternate modeling bio. I used my Czech family heritage and the fact that many models come from Eastern Europe. No clients or coworkers ever said anything—they probably never even saw any of the pictures but at least I was prepared!

Modeling was never more to me than a way to do a lot of traveling and when I got my fill of that I stopped doing it. Although I got paid for almost every picture that was ever taken, I wasn’t very good at it and didn’t have the desire to do it for a living. I got great memories of wonderful people and exotic places out of it though! And a portfolio with more than 10,000 photos!

The modeling albums here are password-protected to prevent the pictures from showing up in Google searches of my name. Other than that, I don't care who sees them, as they are all on the Internet already; just under my modeling name. Let me know if you want the password, and I will send it to you.
